Career Biography

Antonio Olortegui is manager of Corporate Affairs, Legal and Compliance at TASA, one of the main companies in the fishing sector in Peru. In this position, he leads an integrated agenda that articulates legal management with public affairs, institutional relations and corporate reputation, in a highly regulated and strategic industry for the economic development of the country.

His role is characterised by a transversal vision of corporate law, where the legal function not only mitigates risks, but also enables sustainable business decisions and strengthens governance. At TASA, he has consolidated an approach that connects regulatory compliance with the generation of reputational value, helping to position the company as a relevant player in the conversation on sustainability, responsible fishing and developing links with stakeholders.

Prior to joining TASA, Antonio developed an outstanding career of more than 18 years in the commercial aviation industry, a sector equally demanding in terms of regulation and public exposure. During that period, he held leadership positions in legal, regulatory and corporate affairs, from where he promoted initiatives aimed at transparency, sustainability and effective dialogue with key stakeholders, including authorities, unions, communities and the media.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to manage complex environments, characterised by high social sensitivity and public scrutiny. His approach combines technical rigor with a strategic understanding of the political and social environment, which has allowed him to anticipate risks, build trust, and strengthen the social license to operate in the organisations in which he has participated.
