The Philips Latin America legal team, in keeping with its status as a premier global technology company, has a number of experienced and versatile in-house counsel supporting its operations in the region. Head of legal and compliance Latin America María Pía Logiovane brings with her 14 years of experience as an in-house counsel with the company, part of which was taken in Philips’ home country The Netherlands, in support of the company’s healthcare concern. Similarly, general counsel and compliance officer LATAM Maria Gabriela Saadi Herrera enjoys a wealth of experience gained from around various offices in the company; she spent two years as a legal counsel with Philips in Argentina before moving to Panama to be part of the LATAM legal team. Alongside these senior team members, the Philips Latin America legal team continues to attract top legal talent to its in house ranks. Legal counsel and former-private practice lawyer Juliana Hernandez Cerutti, who joined in the first half of 2017, is an example of this; previous roles for the new team member include a notable stint as a consultant for Deloitte.
