Career Biography

Bergman Balcazar Roca is a lawyer and holds a degree in Legal Sciences from Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra. He is currently completing the final module of a Master’s degree in Business Law at the same institution. He has more than ten years of professional experience, with expertise in Administrative Law and administrative proceedings, primarily within the legal departments of financial intermediation entities.

He has held positions including legal assistant, legal adviser and, currently, head of legal and administrative affairs at Banco Ganadero. In his current role, he is responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts with national and international suppliers and service providers, monitoring judicial proceedings, and overseeing compliance with response times for various requests.

He also advises the bank’s different management teams on compliance with applicable regulations and supports the legal advisory department and its deputy head in addressing requests, analysing internal procedures and resolving disputes. In addition, he contributes to the planning and continuous improvement of the legal function.
