Bio

Beatriz Barrionuevo is Senior Director and Chief Counsel for Mondelez International, responsible for Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, and Corporate Security. She is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and leads a team of 35 professionals.

With 25 years of professional experience, Beatriz has held leadership positions in multinational companies across the agribusiness, manufacturing, and technology sectors, including COFCO International, Johnson Controls, and Microsoft. She also served as an associate attorney at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, where she began her legal career.

She holds an LL.M. from the University of Miami, two postgraduate degrees in Economic Law and Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and a J.D. from Centro Universitário de Brasília.

Throughout her career, Beatriz has received numerous awards, including the Legal 500 General Counsel Powerlist, Latin American Counsel Awards, and five consecutive years as one of the Most Admired Legal Executives by the Análise Editorial yearbook.
