Since joining Nidera, a member of COFCO International in 2014, Sheila has become responsible for legal and compliance matters in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She oversees a team of seven lawyers and compliance professionals across the company’s regional offices, providing guidance and support on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, with a particular focus on the international emergency in Eastern Europe. This is an enormous responsibility; one Sheila shoulders with skill and a vast amount of experience that makes her suited for the task.

Sheila Jassies has decades of experience under her belt, possessing a colourful and impressive career as a corporate lawyer at several leading law firms and organisations, including Baker McKenzie, Unilever and Coca-Cola.
