What strategies do you employ to ensure the successful digital transformation of a legal department while maintaining compliance with your country’s data protection laws?

Successfully transforming a legal department digitally while staying compliant with data protection laws requires a strategic, multi-layer approach. And it is very important to choose the right technology platforms and applications and to train the employees. Nevertheless, all these improvements require continuous monitoring and improvement.

There were many transactions that were both unique and interesting.

Every legal counsel has their own approach and personality, which sets them apart from the others.

What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess?

First of all – to be business oriented and have a strong business acumen.

How can general counsel foster a corporate culture that supports ESG principles and compliance across all levels of the organisation?

This question has many ways to answer it. To lead by example, to train at all levels, transform the ESG goals into practical measures, establish the right reporting.

AI is one of the most important topics, including the development of the relevant tools and mechanisms.
