Career Biography
Virginia Beltramini is EVP of Legal & Assurance and Secretary of Moeve’s Board of Directors since September 2024.
In her role at Moeve, Virginia brings strategic clarity, operational discipline, and a global mindset. She is responsible for leading the Legal & Assurance function, supporting Moeve’s governance model, and ensuring that the organisation continues to operate with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and regulatory rigor. Her broad international experience and proven leadership make her a key contributor to Moeve’s long‑term growth and strategic ambitions.
She brings to this role more than two decades of international experience in corporate governance, M&A, business transformation, and strategic legal advisory across Spain and the United States. Recognised for her ability to guide companies through complex and fast‑evolving environments, she has built a distinguished career leading legal functions and advising multinational organisations on high‑impact strategic decisions.
Before joining Moeve, Virginia spent 13 years as General Counsel and Secretary of the Board at Atento, one of the world’s largest providers of customer experience outsourcing and transformation services. In that capacity, she oversaw a global legal department operating across multiple jurisdictions and played a central role in the company’s corporate evolution. Her responsibilities included managing highly specialised internal teams, working closely with top‑tier external counsel, and liaising with senior stakeholders, including regulators and policy‑makers. Her leadership was critical to navigating regulatory complexity, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring best‑in‑class governance practices.
Throughout her career, Virginia has been deeply involved in major corporate transactions and financial operations. She has led or advised on numerous M&A processes, including acquisitions involving private equity funds, and has participated in several capital markets initiatives. These include the company’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange, the issuance of bonds in multiple international markets, and a range of sophisticated refinancing and debt‑restructuring operations. Her ability to combine legal expertise with business acumen has enabled her to support organisations during periods of significant transformation, international expansion, and organisational change.
Virginia’s academic background reflects a strong commitment to legal scholarship and executive development. She holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed doctoral studies in Commercial Law at the National University of Distance Education. She also earned an LL.M. in Legal Advisory from IE Business School and completed an Advanced Executive Program at Esade Business School. This blend of academic rigor and executive training provides her with a multidisciplinary perspective that strengthens her leadership in complex corporate settings.
Throughout her professional journey, she has earned multiple recognitions, both as a lawyer and as the head of legal functions in international environments. She is an active member of various organisations connected to the legal sector, where she contributes to the advancement of best practices in corporate governance, compliance, and legal innovation.
