Alina Dumitrascu is a passionate energy lawyer, with over 20 years of experience and has taken on several leadership positions, including senior roles in public, private and civic sectors in international contexts.
She is a board member in two energy companies and one educational organisation, inspiring women to realise their potential, elevate their career and access leadership positions.
Alina is also passionate about legal innovation and tech, embracing alternative models and technologies. She is deeply invested in helping children understand their rights and uses legal background to write educational books for children and teach the Romanian constitution in schools, launching a constitutional literacy project named Start with the Right.
She also launched SmartasticLab initiative, an NGO supporting education on rule of law, human rights, gender equality and the empowerment of children in Romania who can be ‘smart’ and ‘fantastic’ at the same time.
