Maurice Blanco is fast becoming one of most established lawyers working on Latin America-focused capital markets matters. He is particularly well-known for his underwriter engagements, including in Mexico. A member of Davis Polk’s corporate department practicing in the firm’s Spain and Latin America practice group, he has worked on public and private debt and equity offerings, exchange offers and debt restructurings by US and non-US issuers in a variety of industries. He also regularly advises US and non-US corporate clients with respect to general corporate matters, including corporate governance, SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley matters.
