Jean-Pierre Vignaud is an experienced adviser known for his focus on French and international M&A, including a tremendous amount of experience in transactions both in Africa and the Middle East and North Africa region. He has extensive experience advising developing countries and international groups in negotiations of international transactions. Vignaud’s experience is enviable, and in addition to recognition achieved thanks to work on a variety of projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors, he has advised on project development and finance also. Vignaud first joined Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in 1971, becoming a partner in 1980 before undertaking his current position of senior counsel in 2015.
