Nominated by peers for his outstanding work in Africa over the years, Daniel Tyrer is a leading partner at Linklaters who specialises in energy sector related project development, project finance and private equity transactions across EMEA and the CIS. In Africa, Tyrer is distinguished for leading on a number of recent innovative and first-in-country deals such as advising Eni on the development of an LNG project in Mozambique in Africa’s largest ever project financing and advising the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and other development finance institutions on the project financing of the Khi Solar CSP project in South Africa. He has also recently led on advising Black Rhino group on the proposed development and project financing of a product pipeline from Djibouti to Ethiopia.
