What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past twelve months?

Over the past twelve months I have led two principal initiatives for legal-focused operations in Peru:

Strategic leadership and operational scaling for Peru operations — I shifted from a primarily support position to a more proactive, leadership role working closely with general management. I led initiatives to streamline workflows, prioritise high-impact activities, and redesign proposals with a stronger commercial focus to improve efficiency and drive revenue-oriented results

Also, I am working on enhancing legal cyber‑investigations and risk mitigation — Cybersecurity research and risk mitigation — Proposing to sharpen our investigative capabilities to detect and prevent systematic attacks and fraud. This included implementing more exhaustive analysis protocols, strengthening evidence preservation processes, and recommending controls to reduce exposure and enable faster incident response.

Have you had any experiences during your career as a lawyer that stand out as particularly unique or interesting?

Yes, one experience that stands out in my career has been integrating legal strategy with industry associations work.

I have found that aligning a company’s legal approach with broader industry efforts can be extremely powerful. When common and legitimate interests are identified, working through industry associations helps address regulatory and legal challenges at a collective level, rather than handling them individually—which can often be more time-consuming and costly.

Leading or actively participating in these associations has allowed me to help optimise resources, increase visibility, and contribute to shaping the industry agenda. It also provides a platform to engage more effectively with key stakeholders and regulatory authorities, while strengthening the company’s positioning within the sector.

This combination of legal and institutional strategy has been particularly valuable and, in my experience, a strong differentiator in achieving sustainable outcomes.
