Career Biography

Gabriela Perez Costa Piscoya is a lawyer and legal manager with extensive and effective experience in mining, with a special focus on corporate, regulatory, administrative, territorial, procedural matters (including prevention, management, and resolution of conflicts), labour, civil, occupational health and safety, environmental issues, internal communication, and management of community relations. She combines sector-specific approaches — precise, meticulous, and specialised in the various areas of her expertise — with a comprehensive and systemic vision of the legal and corporate implications as a whole. Gabriela previously served as Legal Manager in Minera Aurifera Retamas S.A. for 15 years and Deputy Legal Manger in Volcan Compañia Minera S.A.A. from March 2024 to June 2025 before her current role as Legal Manager in La Joya Mining S.A.C.
