What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past twelve months?

Since joining Bulk Infrastructure as General Counsel in September 2025, I have supported important strategic initiatives for the group across large-scale infrastructure and data-centre projects. This includes negotiating and supporting in large transactions, including securing €410m of financing, and legal support in large construction projects regarding the build-out of Bulk’s data centre campus in southern Norway, which is one of the largest and most scalable data centre campus in Europe.

What key trends – and challenges – should in-house lawyers be monitoring over the next year?

Increasing regulatory complexity, both at national level and EU-level, will continue to challenge how in-house lawyers approach compliance, risk management and strategic decision-making. At the same time, the legal function is constantly evolving, especially with the use of AI, with higher expectations on legal teams to actively shape decisions rather than assessing risks. This puts greater pressure on our judgment, communication and stakeholder management, as well as on the ability to align legal risks with business strategy.
