Career Biography

Ranieri d’Atri is an experienced Italian legal and corporate governance executive with more than 20 years’ experience across the aviation, transport, engineering, real estate and automotive sectors. He currently serves as Chief Legal, Compliance, Corporate Affairs & Governance Officer and Board Secretary at Italia Trasporto Aereo (ITA Airways), where his remit spans contracts, litigation, regulatory matters, M&A, corporate governance, compliance, financial transactions and intellectual property.

Prior to joining ITA Airways in 2021, d’Atri spent five years at Hitachi Rail STS (formerly Ansaldo STS) as Head of Global Corporate Affairs & Governance, advising on M&A, joint ventures, corporate law, governance, regulatory compliance and major transactions. He previously spent a decade with Beni Stabili (now part of Covivio), specialising in corporate law and governance.

A qualified lawyer admitted through the Rome Bar, d’Atri holds a Master’s degree in Law from LUMSA University. His academic background also includes research experience at the UN Human Rights Committee in Geneva and the University of Deusto in Bilbao.
