The legal department of Brenntag is headed by general counsel Dr Frank Fischer, who has been with the company since 2010. He started his career with Hengeler and then worked for E.ON in different positions. In his current role, he has successfully implemented legal compliance standards for Brenntag Group and established a global network of in-house lawyers. During the past three years, Dr Fischer and his legal team have been actively involved in various M&A transactions on all five continents, providing expert legal advice to the business.
