Career Biography

Luis Felipe Silva Rivera is general counsel at Entel, one of Chile’s leading telecommunications companies, a position he has held since December 2024. He leads the company’s compliance, corporate, and litigation departments. He is also a member of Entel’s Executive Committee, serves as Secretary of the Company’s Board of Directors, and sits on its Ethics Committee and Environment Committee.

Prior to joining Entel, Felipe spent over seventeen years at Agrosuper, one of Chile’s largest food production and export companies. He served as General Counsel from August 2013 to December 2024, and also served as Secretary of Agrosuper’s Board of Directors. Earlier in his career, he held the positions of Deputy Manager of Risk and Credit at Agrosuper (2011–2013) and Head of Contracts at Agrosuper (2007–2011).

As general counsel of Agrosuper, Felipe led the legal work on several of the company’s key transactions, including its acquisitions of Friosur and AquaChile, as well as multiple project financings and debt issuances in both the Chilean and international markets. He was involved in setting up the group’s corporate structure and in the tender offer (OPA) for Sopraval, and led complex litigation teams both in Chile and abroad. In this role, he also represented the Company on the boards of several trade associations, serving both as a director and as the Company’s representative.

He graduated as a lawyer from Universidad Diego Portales (1999–2004), where he also completed a bachelor’s degree in social sciences. He holds a Diploma in Public Economic Law from Universidad de Chile (2016) and a Diploma in Compliance and Governance from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2024–2025), and completed the Sustainable Capitalism & ESG program at the University of California, Berkeley (2020–2021).
