What are the most significant cases, projects and/or transactions that you and/or your legal team have recently been involved in?

Over the past year, my work has focused on advising clients on strategic transactions, capital raising initiatives, corporate reorganisations and governance matters across a range of sectors.

A significant portion of my practice has involved supporting capital raising processes and transaction-related initiatives, working closely with investors, business owners and senior decision-makers. Many of these projects have required coordinating stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and working alongside legal, financial and commercial teams to structure transactions, align interests and facilitate execution.

I have also advised on cross-border corporate reorganisations and investment structures involving family-owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals. These projects often involve aligning ownership structures, business objectives and long-term planning considerations across different stakeholders and generations.

Another important area of focus has been the design and implementation of governance frameworks intended to facilitate decision-making, support business continuity and strengthen long-term organisational structures.

What I have found most rewarding throughout these matters is the opportunity to work across transactions, governance and long-term planning matters, bringing together legal, commercial and strategic perspectives to help clients achieve their objectives.

How does your team contribute to the overall business strategy of the company? Can you share an example of a recent legal-led initiative that had a significant impact?

My role combines legal leadership with responsibility for the firm’s Investment Solutions practice, allowing me to work closely with financial, commercial and advisory professionals on a daily basis.

One of the most meaningful initiatives I have been involved in has been the development and consolidation of the Investment Solutions practice as part of the firm’s broader growth strategy. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of legal, financial and commercial professionals, we helped shape the service offering, develop the documentation, contractual framework and governance standards supporting the practice, while contributing to its continued growth and evolution.

A particularly rewarding aspect of this initiative has been helping establish and strengthen strategic relationships with international financial institutions, custodians and service providers. These collaborations have expanded the range of solutions available to clients and contributed to the firm’s ability to support increasingly sophisticated cross-border investment and wealth planning needs.

The experience reinforced my belief that legal professionals create the greatest value when they actively participate in business initiatives rather than simply supporting them. In my view, the most effective in-house lawyers are those who understand the broader commercial context and can help transform complex legal and structural considerations into practical solutions that enable growth, strengthen relationships and create long-term value.
