How are legal aspects managed during periods of instability or crisis to ensure the organisation’s resilience?

The country is currently experiencing a political and institutional crisis that threatens to undermine democracy and social peace. This is not new, and I truly believe it will not improve in the medium term. In this scenario, teamwork, aided by information technologies, are the only tools we have to move forward.

Contingency plans can be created to address periods of crisis, but if people are not trained and supported by a solid and cohesive team, in addition to technological tools that allow us to continue working while saving time, mobility, and resources, these plans may remain merely theoretical.

Having a cohesive team that follows a common direction fulfills the objective of supporting the Company in facing periods of crisis and instability.

What are the most significant cases, projects, or transactions in which you or your legal team have recently participated?

We are currently driving the automation and updating of our client and broker-facing web platforms. The main objective of this project is to optimise the user experience, streamline operational processes, and strengthen interaction and consultation channels, enabling more efficient and up-to-date access to available information and services.

The main improvements include the automation of processes and frequently requested items, improved accessibility and navigation of the platforms, greater availability and faster response times for requests and the strengthening of digital channels for clients and brokers.

The legal department collaborates on this project with contracts on the use of digital services and confidentiality agreements, linking users so that each intermediary can generate the digital data form in order to comply with regulatory standards.
