What are the most significant cases, projects, and/or transactions that you and/or your legal team have recently been involved in?

During 2025, we had to manage a highly politicized case involving a constitutional injunction that sought to impose a multimillion-dollar claim for alleged civil damages and losses. From a legal standpoint, the claim had no merit; however, due to the high-profile nature of the case, it involved significant complexities. The outcome was favorable for us, and to this date we continue working on other proceedings where the same claim has been escalated.

Have you had any experiences during your career as a lawyer that stand out as particularly unique or interesting?

Throughout all the years I have served as General Counsel, I have come to understand the importance of our role in managing communication crises. The legal and regulatory strategies we develop must be closely aligned with a strong communication strategy, since in many cases, no matter how complex they may be, outcomes can be influenced positively through effective communication management. As a result, strategies today must be fully cross-functional and integrated.
