Career Summary and Key Achievements

Alexandra has been a member of Grupo Martí’s executive team since 2011 and currently serves as Legal and Corporate Vice-President, overseeing the Group’s legal, compliance, human resources and sustainability functions, as well as the Tropigas Foundation. In this role, she actively participates in the Group’s strategic decision-making and has played a pivotal role in its diversification, expansion and growth, both nationally and internationally.

She has led the Group’s legal strategies, corporate structuring, negotiations and contractual matters relating to its operations, investments, acquisitions and strategic alliances, supporting each project from its initial design through to the signing and completion of transactions. Her leadership has been instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of major projects, aligning legal and regulatory objectives with the Group’s strategic goals for growth and diversification.

Her responsibilities have also encompassed the resolution of complex disputes, regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and the development and strengthening of the Group’s corporate governance practices.

Through her leadership of the human resources and sustainability functions, she has promoted the development of policies and practices focused on employee wellbeing and professional development. She has also developed and implemented social responsibility and sustainability initiatives, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to responsible and sustainable long-term growth.

She graduated cum laude with a Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Dominican Republic) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Alcalá de Henares and the International Centre for Financial Training (CIFF) in Madrid, Spain. She has furthered her education in the United States through programmes at Yale School of Management (Management for Lawyers) and The George Washington University School of Business (Compliance), as well as specialist studies in International Oil and Gas Law and Contracts and Negotiations in Houston, Texas. She has also undertaken further training in corporate governance and family businesses, a field in which she also teaches.

She is a member of the Operational Risk and Compliance Committees of Administradora de Fondos de Pensiones Crecer and Seguros Crecer; Secretary of the Board of Directors of Coalición Río, Inc.; and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Republic chapter of the Women’s Energy Network (WENRD). She is also a member of the Dominican Bar Association, the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), and the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR). In addition, she serves on the boards of directors of several companies.

Her professional career was recognised by Revista Mercado, which included her in its “40 Under 40” list in 2025.
