Career Biography

Elena Torregrosa was appointed Chief Legal Officer on Gestamp Group as of September 2025. Elena joined Gestamp in 2012 and has held various positions since then. She began as Manager of Madrid Corporate Legal Department and later transitioned to Corporate Area Director. In this role, she has provided legal advice across corporate governance, commercial, civil, and criminal law to the Group’s companies. She has been actively involved in the Group’s most significant M&A transactions, including its IPO and serves as Deputy Secretary of the Board of Directors of Gestamp Automoción, S.A. Prior to joining Gestamp, Elena worked as a corporate lawyer at the Spanish law firm Uría Menéndez, advising both corporations and private equity funds on M&A transactions.

Elena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICADE (Madrid), a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University (Washington D.C.), and a Master of Laws in Legal Advice to Corporations from IE Law School (Madrid).
