Career Biography

Cynthia Herrera is an attorney, graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University and began her legal career at the law firm Rubio Leguía Normand.

Cynthia has over 20 years of experience as an in-house lawyer in companies belonging to major national and international economic groups and currently serves as Legal Manager at Urbanova Inmobiliaria, a company of the Breca Group, responsible for managing the Group’s real estate and hotel businesses. She has been recognised on several occasions by Legal 500 magazine as one of the country’s most influential corporate lawyers.

Among her main achievements, Cynthia led the legal strategy and negotiation, as well as the financing process, for the Breca Group’s recent project, Torre Rosales, an emblematic office and hotel development located in the financial heart of San Isidro.

She is part of the legal team in charge of implementing and executing the Compliance Program for both business lines, having obtained ISO 37001 (anti-bribery) certification for the real estate business companies in 2025, representing the achievement of a significant international standard in the management of Urbanova’s operations.

Currently, Cynthia is primarily focused on the implementation of artificial intelligence platforms as part of the value-creation strategy of Urbanova’s in-house legal services.
