What are the key projects you have participated in over the past twelve months?

In recent months, I have been focused on implementing the legal area for Lindcorp Group companies: Tambo and Aruma.

This involved establishing key contractual models, processes, and manuals to standardise certain aspects and minimise the legal risks inherent to the business. Additionally, the implementation process for the company’s compliance system is underway.

What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess?

A strong in‑house legal partner combines strategic vision with a deep understanding of the company’s objectives, offering guidance that supports growth, operational efficiency, and effective risk management rather than focusing solely on compliance. This approach is grounded in risk‑based thinking, spotting, assessing, and prioritising legal and regulatory risks in a way that is both practical and preventive.

Equally important is the ability to communicate clearly, translating complex legal concepts into straightforward, actionable advice that non‑legal colleagues can confidently use. The role also demands proactivity and problem‑solving, anticipating challenges, proposing solutions, and consistently adding value beyond reactive legal support. Underpinning all of this is sound ethical judgment and integrity, ensuring compliance while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability across the organisation.
