Career Biography

Adriana Bertolotti Rivera is Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager at Colegios Peruanos (Innova Schools), where she leads the legal function with an integrated approach to business, risk management and corporate strategy. She has more than 15 years of experience, both in law firms and in-house. She began her career at Miranda & Amado, specialising in civil, contentious-administrative and constitutional procedural law, and later joined Colegios Peruanos, where she has accompanied the growth and consolidation of the company.

One of her main contributions has been the creation and evolution of the legal area from scratch. Adriana led the structuring of the area, developing standardised models, training and tools that improved the efficiency and autonomy of the different areas of the organisation.

In her role as Legal Manager, she has promoted key initiatives in regulatory compliance, contingency management and relationship with authorities. Of particular note is the implementation of an integrated system for the prevention and reaction of violence and bullying and of a centralised compliance team to ensure adequate compliance with regulatory requirements in all campuses nationwide, as well as the strengthening of a preventive approach in the management of legal and reputational risks.

She has also had an active participation in the education sector, as a representative of the company in unions and in working groups with the Ministry of Education, contributing to the discussion and improvement of the regulatory framework applicable to private schools.

In the corporate field, she has advised on relevant transactions such as bond issuances and various financing structures, integrating legal analysis with the strategic objectives of the business.

Adriana complements her experience with a solid background in management and business. In addition to her training as a lawyer, she has an Executive MBA from CENTRUM (in alliance with Tulane University and IE Business School) and studies in Legal Operations from ESADE, which reinforces her focus on efficiency and value generation.
