Career Biography

Ana Guerrero Quintana is a senior in-house legal professional with over sixteen years of experience in corporate law, contract management and compliance. She currently serves as Legal Manager at AJE Group in Peru, where she leads the legal function for a complex multi-entity operation comprising more than fifteen companies, including manufacturing plants, distribution centres, commercial operations and service companies. In this role, she oversees legal risk management, contractual governance and regulatory compliance across the organisation’s full operational value chain.

Recognised in multiple editions of the GC Powerlist Peru by The Legal 500, Ana has developed a strong reputation as a strategic legal advisor and trusted business partner, supporting senior management in aligning legal strategy with operational and commercial priorities. Her responsibilities include managing high-impact legal matters, strengthening governance structures and ensuring that legal considerations are effectively integrated into business decision-making processes.

A defining element of Ana’s professional trajectory has been her leadership in the implementation of key corporate governance and compliance initiatives. Ana has played a central role in strategic financing transactions, including both syndicated and bilateral financing arrangements with leading financial institutions. Her responsibilities included leading contractual negotiations, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing communications with banking counterparts to ensure legal alignment and successful execution. Notably, she contributed to the completion of a US$75mn syndicated financing, demonstrating her capability to support complex financial operations and contribute to the organisation’s financial strategy.

Her responsibilities also include overseeing a high-volume contractual environment, managing approximately 770 contracts annually, ensuring efficiency, consistency and alignment with business requirements. Through the standardisation of contractual processes, she has strengthened governance practices and improved operational transparency across business units.

Ana regularly interacts with regulatory authorities relevant to the consumer goods industry, supporting compliance and ensuring that the organisation remains aligned with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. She also participates in internal and external audit processes, contributing legal oversight and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulatory expectations.

As leader of a nine-member legal team, Ana fosters a collaborative and performance-driven culture focused on delivering pragmatic and timely legal solutions.
