Maja Gawrysiuk is a distinguished legal leader and a key member of the leadership team at Comarch, where she plays a pivotal role in steering the company through a significant organizational and technological transformation. As Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Maja focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and elevating the quality of legal support by seamlessly integrating compliance and legal strategy into the core business objectives. Her mission is to transform the legal department from a traditional support function into a value-adding business partner.

At Comarch, Maja’s dual focus encompasses: strategic growth and M&A, leading complex mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring to drive the company’s growth; technological innovation and AI, navigating the frontier of new technologies by enabling the implementation of innovative solutions, including Artificial Intelligence.

Prior to her tenure at Comarch, Maja held a senior management role at the Polish Development Fund (PFR). As internal counsel within PFR’s investment teams, she provided end-to-end legal oversight across the entire investment lifecycle, ensuring high-value transactions were both structured for success and compliant with stringent standards.

Her professional foundation was built over seven years at the Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig, where she worked in the Banking and Finance department. There, she advised top-tier financial institutions and corporate clients on complex cross-border transactions and sophisticated corporate governance matters.

Maja is a “business enabler” who combines deep legal expertise with a forward-thinking approach to technology, making her an essential architect of Comarch’s future-ready legal and compliance ecosystem.
