What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past twelve months?

I am responsible for all the legal matters and overall legal protection of all the organisations in the listed countries. It includes day-to-day monitoring of law in so many different jurisdictions both being the EU member states or not. Also the risk management and supervision of external lawyers in dedicated matters, for instance labor, corporate and marketing law. The key projects include creation and implementation of the compliance book and data privacy guidelines along with a series of training sessions for all the employees.

As the Vice President of the Polish In-house Lawyers Association I have contributed to the successful celebration of the 15th anniversary of that organisation which summarised great achievements including significant growth in membership ( almost 400 Polish Legal Directors ), many training sessions and integration meetings as well as creation of the unique Legal MBA program.

What are the key trends that in-house counsel should be monitoring in 2026?

For sure in-house counsels should monitor and focus on the complex EU regulations including the green deal, pay transparency and specifically AI which will influence and change the way of work and training requirements for all lawyers.

Have you had any experiences during your career as a lawyer that stand out as particularly unique?

Yes, there are two unique and specific experiences I have had so far in my career as a lawyer. One was combining the role of the Legal Director with the role of the HR Director. The second was an amazing opportunity to manage the legal matters in the Indochina hub where I was responsible for all the legal matters, including managing the budget and the team in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam for a few months.
