Gopishetty Srikkanth serves as the group general counsel of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, one of India’s fastest-growing conglomerates with interests spanning Power, Retail, FMCG, Media, Technology, Sports, and Education. Srikkanth is part of the group since two decades, he has contributed to the group’s retail legal and  regulatory, architecture with the calm precision.

He leads the legal and compliance function of the group handling complex portfolios that include high-stakes litigation, M&A, corporate restructuring, consumer-facing regulatory challenges, overseas expansion, digital compliance, food-safety enforcement, technology contracts, and sports/IP strategy. His role has expanded from managing a fraction of the group’s businesses to steering the entire legal universe reflecting deep trust from the leadership.

His work spans statutory codes, mergers and acquisitions, IP enforcement, FSSA/LMPC compliance, DPDP readiness, ESG-linked governance, and institutional mediation frameworks.

He previously served as senior manager (legal) at HUDCO, a public sector undertaking, for over eight years, and also held a stint with the state government. He is an LLM rank-holder from Osmania University, holds a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from IIT Kharagpur, is qualified in ICWAI, and is currently pursuing a PhD in food laws.
