An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India Ashish is a company secretary, legal and compliance professional with more than two decades of Experience in working with large Corporates. He has expertise in managing Legal and Compliance risk, ensuring good Corporate Governance, Board and Shareholders interaction, managing International JVs, M&A, structuring transactions, legal compliance & documentation, Securitisation and Asset Reconstruction and management of employee benefits (PF/Superannuation/Gratuity) trust. Ashish is a general counsel, chief-regulatory affairs and company secretary with Generali Central Insurance Company Limited (Formerly known as Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited). Before joining Generali Central, he was a company secretary and chief legal and compliance officer of Edelweiss General Insurance Company Limited where he was responsible for the Secretarial, Compliance and Legal functions of the Company in its startup phase. He is skilled in handling high profile Board and international JVs and ensuring best corporate governance practices.

He has extensive experience in handling legal and secretarial functions of listed, manufacturing and regulated financial services Companies. He has built a distinguished career across sectors, starting from Scooters India, followed by key roles in Bagrry’s India, Alchemist ARC, Arcil, Aditya Birla Sun Life, Reliance Nippon Life, and Zuno Insurance. He currently serves as a Board Member of N2G Global Services Private Limited. Ashish is a Fellow member (FCS) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and has done B.Sc, LL.B and Masters in Labour Laws and Personnel Management (MLPM) from University of Lucknow and have also completed Senior Management Programme from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
