What are the most significant cases, projects and/or transactions that you and/or your legal team have recently been involved in?

We have been involved in a few initiatives relating to our existing China assets/portfolios and each of them requires navigating complex legal and regulatory requirements. Legal team has taken a proactive approach in addressing these regulatory/legal issues and together with business and other teams have made progress as a result.

How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crisis to ensure the organisation’s resilience?

The specific approach may vary depending on different situations, but generally the approach would include identifying the legal aspects/issues, mapping internal/external stakeholders’ requirements and expectations, and developing solutions that balance different interests. Throughout the process, it’s essential to stay coordinated across different teams as legal can’t operate in isolation.
