Career Biography

As the first General Counsel for the APAC region at Resideo, Laura Yuan established the regional legal function from the ground up. She translates business objectives into actionable legal strategies and contributes directly to strategic decision-making for regional operations and growth initiatives. Laura Yuan has managed a diverse portfolio of litigation and arbitration matters across APAC, achieving a 98% success rate in concluded cases. Additionally, she has designed and implemented the regional compliance management framework, and established internal antitrust and data compliance processes.

Prior to joining Resideo, Laura Yuan gained extensive experience at leading law firms in China and other multinational companies. She specializes in cross-border M&A, private equity investment, general corporate governance and compliance advisory, and disputes resolution.

She graduated from Fudan University and University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is qualified to practice law in China and New Work state.
