Career Biography
Ben Graham is a transformative legal executive with over twenty years’ experience driving business performance and legal excellence in global organisations. As Europe Legal Director at AB InBev, Ben leads a multi-disciplinary team that has redefined legal’s role as a strategic business partner across the continent.
Ben has spearheaded legal and compliance strategy for AB InBev’s activation at landmark events including the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup, enabling high-impact commercial partnerships and brand platforms at scale. He has led negotiations and legal stewardship for major alliances with partners such as Mahou San Miguel, Efes and Castel supporting long-term growth and operational resilience across diverse markets.
By aligning annual legal plans with commercial priorities and introducing impact metrics, Ben has ensured Legal delivers measurable value to the business. Under his leadership, the Europe Legal team has embedded structured processes, digital tools, and AI-driven work optimisations that have enhanced efficiency, transparency and business alignment.
Previously, Ben scaled AB InBev’s compliance function across Africa, embedding ethics programs and strengthening governance in high-growth markets. As Global Legal Director for Competition, he managed merger filings and regulatory engagement worldwide, playing a key role in the approval of AB InBev’s acquisition of SABMiller in over 20 jurisdictions.
Beyond AB InBev, Ben serves as Board Member and Chair of the External Affairs Committee for ACC Europe, leading advocacy and external communications for in-house counsel across the region.
