How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
In today’s environment of constant transformation and accelerated digitalisation—where innovation and efficiency are key to business success—it is essential for me, as part of the Legal Department, to operate under a solid compliance framework and with a highly specialised team capable of anticipating and effectively responding to change with excellence.
As a leader, my responsibility is to align my legal objectives with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring the protection and safeguarding of the organisation while remaining solution-oriented. This means going beyond identifying risks to actively managing and mitigating them, always with a clear understanding of the business context in which I operate.

What are the major cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?
I had the privilege of participating in the voluntary conversion process of our SOFOM into a regulated SOFOM, with the objective of optimising our operations and strengthening our credibility within the financial sector for our clients and investors.
This project has allowed me to be part of significant organisational changes focused on digitalisation, innovation, and the development of a more robust compliance structure aimed at ensuring stronger control over our legal, accounting, credit, and regulatory processes.

What measures has your company taken to embed sustainability practices into its core business operations, and how does the role of the general counsel contribute to driving and ensuring sustainable practices within the company?
We are committed to driving the progress and development of clean energy solutions in mobility matters, generating a positive impact on our people, clients, suppliers, and communities. We have established clear objectives to ensure that our actions align with rigorous standards and contribute to driving sustainable growth.
As a Legal Counsel, I play a key role in promoting and ensuring sustainable practices by overseeing compliance with environmental regulations, integrating ESG principles into the corporate strategy, and collaborating with other departments to foster a culture of sustainability across the organisation.

Which legal tech organisations or products are helping you in your role?
We are currently implementing different software solutions to automate and manage our legal records, portfolio, and account statement issuance. The most significant tool we have implemented is the use of artificial intelligence to support legal research, generate templates, analysis and review of legal documents, and analyse contracts to identify potential risks and inconsistencies.
