Bilingual legal professional with over 22 years of experience navigating the complexities of corporate and commercial law, capital markets regulations, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. 

Holding a master’s degree in Private Law, Ousama has built a distinguished career specialising in cross-border transactions, joint ventures, investment fund establishment and structuring, bond issuances, corporate restructuring and reorganisation, and private equity transactions—helping business teams mitigate risks and thrive in challenging environments. 

Currently serving as the General Counsel at NBK Wealth, Ousama is also a member of the Management Executive Committee, where he provides strategic legal advice on complex financial products, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance. He leads the legal function, offering strategic counsel that aligns with business goals while ensuring adherence to regulations across Kuwait, DIFC, Bahrain, and the Cayman Islands. 

Dedicated to fostering a culture of mentorship and excellence within legal teams, his leadership also extends to supervising external counsel and supporting compliance initiatives – ensuring full alignment with evolving regulations across NBK Wealth’s operational jurisdictions.
