Career Biography
Rihab Aboul Hosn is a Senior Legal Counsel with over 14 years of experience leading complex legal, corporate, and regulatory matters across the Middle East, with a particular focus on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and international business law. She currently serves as Senior Healthcare Legal Counsel at Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Company (KSCC), Al-Shifa Pharma Pharmaceutical Trading & Industries (W.L.L), and Mezzan Medical for Trading in Medicines and Medical Instruments WLL — entities operating under Mezzan Holding Co. – Kuwait. In this capacity, she acts as the primary legal advisor to the CEO and Managing Director, providing strategic counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and high-stakes regulatory issues. Her work includes leading complex negotiations and offering legal guidance that supports business growth, compliance excellence, and operational integrity.
In her current role, Aboul Hosn oversees the drafting, negotiation, and review of a wide range of pharmaceutical and medical device agreements with leading international companies. These include supply and distribution agreements, manufacturing and licensing agreements, technology transfer arrangements, and service contracts for engineering and validation projects. She also designs and implements policies addressing anti-bribery, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, and regulatory compliance, while closely monitoring emerging legal and industry trends to ensure proactive and effective legal support.
Prior to joining Mezzan Holding, Aboul Hosn served as a Legal Advisor at prominent Kuwaiti law firms and practiced law in Lebanon, where she managed multi-jurisdictional corporate and commercial matters, arbitral disputes under ICC and DIFC rules, and drafted a wide spectrum of agreements, including joint ventures, franchise agreements, shareholders’ agreements, BOT agreements, and concession contracts. Her work has consistently delivered high-quality legal solutions that safeguard clients’ interests while enabling sustainable business growth.
Beyond her legal practice, Aboul Hosn is deeply committed to professional development and knowledge sharing. She has trained legal professionals through the Kuwaiti Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (KAPIP), in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry and actively participates in professional organisations such as the Beirut Bar Association.
