Career Biography
Darragh Byrne was appointed as Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel of DCC in October 2020, having previously held a number of senior legal positions within the company. He oversees the group’s HSE, risk, legal, compliance and company secretarial teams, as well as acting as the group’s Company Secretary. Before he joined DCC in 2012, Byrne was responsible for the establishment of legal teams in several other organisations. He has also worked as a lawyer in private practice and is qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales.
