Edouard Eltvedt, SVP Corporate Legal Affairs at Airbus, has over 20 years of experience in international business law, both in law firms and in house. He spent ten years working in the private practice on international mergers and acquisitions and has been at Airbus for 14 years, successively in charge of mergers and acquisitions, strategic projects under the General Counsel (including international investigations), and, since 2022, of the legal teams responsible for governance, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, competition law, insurance law, and real estate law. He was notably involved in the creation of ArianeGroup, the acquisition of the C-Series aircraft program (now the A220) from Bombardier, the review of Airbus’ stake in Dassault Aviation, and the resolution of the Airbus compliance investigations. Edouard Eltvedt studied European business law, holds a dual degree in French and Anglo-Saxon law, and notably attended a youth session at the IHEDN (Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence) in 1997.
