Bio

Danilo is currently the Head of Legal and Compliance at Cy.Capital, an asset management firm. He has 20 years of experience in M&A, capital markets, and real estate. Over the past 8 years, he has been involved in the management of real estate investment funds, contributing to the structuring of funds, capital raising, acquisition and divestment of real estate assets through various structures, issuance of real estate receivables certificates (CRIs), property leases, among other activities.

Danilo holds a law degree from the Law School of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and an LLM in International Financial Law from King’s College London. He began his legal career at the law firms Demarest Advogados and Cescon Barrieu Flesch e Barreto Advogados. In 2017, he took on the role of Head of Legal and Compliance at V2 Investimentos. In 2021, he was invited to join the founding team of Cy.Capital, the asset management arm of the Cyrela Group.

Danilo has expertise across various areas of law, which enables him to facilitate more complex transactions. At both V2 Investimentos and Cy.Capital, he faced the challenge of establishing the legal department and structuring Compliance routines. He values the quality and efficiency of contracts and approaches negotiations with a strong business-oriented mindset.
