What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past 12 months?

Key projects:

Internal support related to the supply of pipes and valves for the City of Oslo’s water supply project.

Procurement of a new whistleblowing system for the group (Norway)

Legal support in the development of a compliance module within the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system.

Internal support related to a variety of project agreements, supplier agreements and customer agreements.

What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess?

I believe that modern in-house legal counsel need to have some of the following attributes: corporate insight, good communication skills, pragmatism and problem-solving, collaboration and influence, moral leadership

Based on your experiences in the past year, are there any trends in the legal or business world that you are keeping an eye on, of which you think other in-house lawyers should be mindful?

Based on my experience, the trends I am keeping an eye on are clearly within ESG, cyber security/data privacy, trade sanctions, and also AI.
