What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past 12 months?

The establishment of a well-functioning legal department of a start-up, as well as supporting an M&A deal, increasing efficiency through the introduction of our own AI tools in contract review and drafting, and the introduction of compliance processes.

Have you had any experiences during your career as a lawyer that stand out as particularly unique or interesting?

That was definitely the transition from a start-up to an international group within a few months. It was definitely a challenge, but it also enabled many developments, including of a personal nature.

What do you think sets you apart from other in-house counsel?

I manage the legal department of a fast-growing and international company as a one-woman show.

What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess?

Openness to new technologies, entrepreneurial thinking, creating relationships within the company, creating transparency, defining corporate success as a goal.
