Ginamaría Miglino serves as the head of legal at Pilay Uruguay Administradora de Fondos de Inversión, a financial trust company dedicated to the administration of financial trusts for real estate purposes, duly authorised by the Central Bank of Uruguay. The company has achieved notoriety by being fully authorised to issue, to date, securities for an amount of more than US$3 billion, consolidating itself as a major player in the sector. 

Ginamaría graduated from Universidad Católica del Uruguay in 2011 and has more than 12 years of professional experience. Ginamaría’s current role is the result of the valuable experience she has accumulated during her years as a law student, during which she worked at renowned law firms, including PwC and Ferrere Abogados. The latter proved to be a fundamental crucible in which she forged her career for almost a decade, acquiring expertise in various fields, such as General Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Personal Data Protection and Free Zones, among others. In addition, throughout her career, Ginamaría has also ventured into the fields of Foreign Trade and Mining Law. 

Ginamaría currently assumes a key position as leader of the corporate and regulatory facets of both the trustee entity under her responsibility and the trusts under its administration. In addition, Ginamaría assumes the crucial responsibility of safeguarding the interests of a broad base of investors, who place their trust in the competence and diligence exhibited by these enterprises. 

Ginamaría manages to find a harmonious balance between her professional activities and her new role as a mother. She effectively prioritises tasks that offer strategic value to her management and the companies she advises, and skilfully navigates between the demands and requirements of her legal profession and the joys and responsibilities of motherhood.
