First, can you please give us an idea of the sort of work your team has done recently?

We are business partners that support both the healthcare and life science sectors. We manage the basic legal areas like corporate law, labour litigation, but our focus, and added value, is on pharmaceutical related regulations, competition law, compliance, data privacy, and digital. We created task forces to review and approve digital initiatives, regional harmonisation and projects implementation. Crisis committees and negotiations are also part of our day to day.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?

Our company has more than 350 years, so our main goal is to protect its reputation while making things happen with a balanced risk approach, and creative solutions.

What can law firms do to improve their service to the legal department?

Business knowledge and expertise as well as reasonable cost for operational support. Law firms are also a valuable source for team’s development.
