Led by associate general counsel for Latin America, Ines Bahachille, Ingram Micro’s legal team that covers the region is made up of 13 people based in the US, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Argentina. They are responsible for the legal operations in the region that include maximising and tax savings across the US export division, as well as other activities which include M&A, corporate structure, litigation, contract negotiation, compliance and technology related areas of the business. The team are recognised for being key contributors on a complex arbitration process in Brazil and defence of tax liabilities worth up to US$500m.
