Kenneth Schwartz is incredibly focused on providing legal services in the fastest, and most cost-effective way, to his organization. To achieve this, he favors an approach of consolidation and segmentation – identifying the right legal service at the right cost model for each type of legal work. This has led him to increase his use of RFPs, to negotiate flat rate commitments from key lawyers that do a higher volume of work, and to identify more work that can be brought inside.
