Ed has been General Counsel for Zurich’s UK & Ireland business since 2018. Over the last year he has also acted as General Counsel for Zurich’s Global Speciality business and has been leading on the acquisition of Beazley plc for Zurich Group, which completed on 2 October. Following the acquisition, he was named as Zurich’s Global Specialty & Beazley Group GC.  This is the number one specialty insurer globally and the biggest insurer at Lloyd’s.
