Alex started his career as an M&A lawyer at Freshfields in London and Singapore. He developed an interest in FMCG and the drinks industry while working on the £100bn+ takeover of SABMiller, which led him to move in-house at AB InBev in the UK&I team in 2019. After a short, fun, pandemic-fuelled stint there, where he had responsibility for all things legal, he moved to Fever-Tree, where he is now General Counsel and Company Secretary. He sits on the global exec team and covers all things legal, governance, risk, privacy and more. He is passionate about developing people and wants more lawyers to enjoy their roles.

In his spare time, he is Senior Independent Director at British Fencing, the national governing body for the Olympic and Paralympic sport of fencing in the UK.
