Since June 2014, Ruşen Gürlük Yarpınar has headed the legal team at EWE Turkey Holding, the Turkish arm of German EWEW AG and the first and largest international investor in Turkish gas market. The team has led all company M&A transactions, including the acquisition of alternative telecommunications operator Millenicom in 2016. In addition to ensuring the company remains compliant with all statutory and legal requirements, the team has regular contact with relevant departments to ensure that legal risks are identified and legal protection and risk management are provided. With Yarpınar advising the company’s executives and the board of directors with respect to strategic transactions, reviewing and providing legal advice on sector based legal developments and ongoing cases, the team is able to regularly demonstrate its value to the company.
