At the beginning of 2015 a new, global organisational structure of the legal function was implemented at BASF, the largest chemical producer in the world, in order to further increase internal customer orientation and alignment with business structures. Burcu Bozkurt, head legal counsel for Turkey and Azerbaijan, and her team focused on advising the business on the changing local legal landscape. ‘We target legal solutions which are based on our excellent expertise and on a deep understanding of our clients’ business, products and markets’, says Bozkurt.
