Career biography

Christina Del Vecchio is an accomplished legal executive with nearly two decades of experience in corporate law, compliance, finance, and governance across multinational environments. As Chief Legal Officer of PolyPeptide Group AG, Christina leads the global Legal & Compliance function, overseeing legal operations across Switzerland, the EU, the United States, and India.

Since joining PolyPeptide in 2021, Christina has built the legal department from the ground up, transforming it into a strategic business enabler. She is responsible for all legal and compliance matters, including corporate governance, regulatory risk, compliance programmes, and the management of complex legal transactions and financing negotiations. Her leadership has been instrumental in aligning legal strategy with business objectives and enhancing the organisation’s operational resilience.

Prior to joining PolyPeptide, Christina held senior legal roles at Niederer Kraft Frey AG in Zurich and Latham & Watkins LLP in London, where she specialised in capital markets and finance. In these roles, she advised on cross-border transactions, securities regulation, and corporate finance matters across European and international jurisdictions.
